Hi Atlantic School of Survey student and future marine surveyor! This page contains useful information and links to help you get started with InspectX Marine Report Writing Software.
We encourage you to start by taking handwritten notes in the field until you have become familiar with the included content within InspectX. The link below includes some printable notes for getting started.

INSPECTX HARDWARE REQUIREMENTS:
InspectX uses Microsoft Sequel Server 2014 (or 2016) Express which has the following key requirements:
Operating SystemsWindows 11, Windows 10, Windows 7, Windows 7 Service Pack 1, Windows 8, Windows 8.1, Windows Server 2008 R2, Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1, Windows Server 2012, Windows Server 2012 R2
ProcessorIntel – compatible processor with a minimum speed of 1 GHz or a faster processorAMD - supported on AMD64/x64 architecture
RAMMinimum 512 MB for SQL Server Express with Tools, and SQL Server Express with Advanced Services and 4 GB for Reporting Services that installs with SQL Server Express with Advanced Services
Hard Disk Space4.2 GB of Disk Space
NOTE: computers running the latest ARM64 processors do not support the required components to install InspectX. This includes Processors labeled Snapdragon, Apple M, etc.

COUPON CODE
All new InspectX users receive a complimentary coupon code for their first report. You can republish an unlocked report as many times as you need to. You won't need this coupon until you have completed your first report and are ready to publish. At that point you'll follow the instructions to create a user account and instead of entering your credit card details simply use the coupon code: "WELCOME" and click apply.
